Compulsory Third Party insurance, otherwise known as CTP, provides compensation for other people injured by your vehicle when you or the person driving your vehicle is the driver at fault in an accident.

It is compulsory throughout Australia.

We selected Allianz as our CTP insurance provider for Queensland Drivers because Allianz offers some of the most competitive CTP premiums around.

QLD CTP covers  
  • other road users, such as drivers, passengers, pedestrians, pedal cyclists, motorcyclists and pillion passengers
  • your passengers
QLD CTP does not cover  
  • damage to property including your motor vehicle or other vehicles

  • personal injury sustained by you if you are the driver at fault – see At-Fault Driver Protection#
#At-Fault Driver Protection   Queensland CTP policies do not cover the at-fault driver, however Allianz QLD CTP comes with At-Fault Driver Protection with guaranteed benefits up to $1,000,000.*

Allianz QLD CTP covers the At-Fault Driver (who is 25 years or older) for serious personal injury at no extra cost.

Easy to transfer   Transfer from your current QLD CTP insurance provider to an Allianz QLD CTP Policy (with additional At Fault Driver Protection#). Your request to transfer can be completed at any time during the year, however your QLD CTP insurer will only change to Allianz on the day the motor vehicle registration is renewed**.
